Polypropylene
Multifilament Rope
The primary product line. Braided constructions in polypropylene multifilament — lightweight, waterproof, UV resistant, and available in multiple diameters and colours. Tested and certified to ISO standard.
- Braided construction — ISO 1346:2004 / JUS F.S2.2552
- UV resistant — suitable for outdoor and marine use
- Waterproof — does not absorb moisture
- High flexibility — easy to handle and coil
- Multiple diameters and constructions available
- Available in a range of colours
- Polypropylene is recyclable
Polyester
Rope
Polyester rope constructions offering superior tensile strength, excellent stretch recovery, and high abrasion resistance. Well suited to heavy-duty lifting, mooring, and load-bearing applications where strength retention under load is critical.
- Higher tensile strength than polypropylene
- Excellent abrasion resistance
- Good stretch recovery under repeated load
- UV and weather resistant
- Sinks in water — suited to mooring and towing
- Specification detail available on request
Industrial Twine
& Fiber Core
Multi-purpose polypropylene twines used across agriculture, packaging, fisheries, and as fiber cores in steel wire rope construction. Made from highest quality UV-resistant raw materials. Standard and custom constructions available.
- Fiber core for steel wire rope construction

Standards & Certification
Compliance with ISO 1346:2004 ensures that S.-M. Petrović’s rope products can be positioned confidently in European and international markets without additional re-certification in most cases. For distributors operating under purchasing frameworks that require traceable quality documentation, the Faculty of Technology certificate provides direct third-party validation.
The combination of international (ISO) and national (JUS) certification makes the product range straightforward to trade within both Western European and Balkan/CEE markets — a practical advantage for distributors operating across these regions simultaneously.
The use of UV-resistant raw materials throughout the polypropylene range is not simply a product feature — it is a supply chain consistency requirement. UV degradation is the primary failure mode for outdoor synthetic rope, and resistance is built in at material selection, not added as a coating.
